We are extremely pleased to be able to offer both our patients and visitors a new Travel Clinic Service. Medical & Nursing staff provide a full range of immunisations, including Yellow Fever, along with up to date medical intelligence on the the areas you are visiting.
It is extremely important to be able to inform the nurse on the locations you are visiting and areas you will be travelling through. Based on the information you supply the nurse will be able to obtain up to date medical intelligence and advise you of precautions to be taken along with any malaria advice necessary.
Please complete the Travel Destination questionnaire (as early as possible) to give the nursing team time to research your individual requirements. Once they have completed their search they will invite you in for an appointment to review your requirements and advise on vaccinations. Once agreed, you will be asked to sign and pay for any necessary immunisations or anti-malarials prior to our ordering from the supplier.
If you are planning a foreign trip please book in a travel assessment appointment ASAP. Some destinations require a course of vaccinations that can take a number of weeks to complete.
When you have an appointment please complete and submit this form before your appointment with the nurse. Please be mindful that the earlier we received the form the more likely we are to be able to ensure you receive all the vaccines you require before you travel. We recommend a minimum of 6 weeks notice.
This service is a private service, with extremely competitive prices, as the vast majority of travel immunisations are not available on the NHS (Please ask the nurse who will be happy to inform you of current available NHS immunisations).
