Please allow a minimum of 3 working days and usually up to 7 working days before contacting the practice for test results. Some tests may take longer to process as they are “batched” by the laboratory. You will be advised during your consultation, approximately when to expect test results back and therefore, when to call.

Staff will not be able to enter into a conversation regarding the interpretation of these results and will only give basic information as supplied by your GP.
Staff will not be able to deal with enquiries regarding Laboratory test results outside of these hours. Any further enquiries regarding these results should be directed to either the GP who sent you for the test or your registered GP on early morning calls.
Test results can also be made available through the NHS App.
