Following advice and the emergence of a new and highly transmissible variant of COVID, NHS England has asked all its GP practice to accelerate the vaccination programme and with an aim to vaccinate all in the eligible cohorts by the 31st October.
The Gratton team will be providing 3 Saturday clinics to vaccinate our patients who fall within the eligibility criteria for both Flu and COVID on Saturday 30 September, 7th and 14th October.
Both vaccinations will be given at the same time. Please do not book these slots if you are not prepared to have both vaccines.
Am I eligible?
Eligibility for Flu and COVID vaccinations are the same:
- All patients aged 65 and over, or will be 65 by the 31st March 2024
- All patients aged 6 months to 64, with long term conditions who are in a clinical risk group
- Immunosuppressed patients and their household contacts
- Patients aged 16 to 64 who are classified as carers
